Maintaining Your Radiant Health Infrared Sauna
For optimal performance and longevity, we recommend the following care and maintenance practices:
- To help keep your sauna looking like new, place towels on the bench and floor during each use. Towels absorb perspiration and help protect the hemlock wood from moisture and staining.
- Use a hand towel to wipe away perspiration throughout your session. This not only enhances comfort but also helps reduce moisture on the sauna's wood surfaces.
- Remove used towels after each sauna session and launder them before their next use. Always use fresh, clean towels for each session to help maintain a hygienic and enjoyable sauna environment.
- To preserve the natural beauty of your sauna, gently wipe the walls, bench, and door handles with a damp (not wet) cloth every few weeks or as needed.
- Vacuum the sauna floor regularly to remove dust, hair, and other debris. Keeping the interior clean helps maintain a fresh, hygienic environment and preserves the appearance of your sauna.
- Clean the glass using a highly diluted vinegar-and-water solution. Spray the solution onto a cloth outside the sauna, then wipe the glass as needed. Avoid spraying any cleaning products directly inside the sauna, as odors can be absorbed by the wood.
- Please do not use harsh or chemical cleaning products. We only recommend using mild, unscented dish detergent mixed with water on a damp cloth to clean the wood.
