Creating a Comfortable Sauna Ritual

A few simple habits help protect your sauna and enhance your experience.

  1. Sit on a thick towel during each session and place a towel or 100% cotton mat on the floor. This protects the natural wood from perspiration and oils.
  2. Bring a small towel into the sauna to wipe away sweat as needed. Many customers find this makes longer sessions more comfortable.
  3. After your session, leave the door open for a short period to allow fresh air to circulate and moisture to dissipate.
