# Simple Habits for a Better Sauna Experience

A few simple habits can help protect your sauna while making each session more comfortable and enjoyable.

- Sit on a thick towel during every session, and place a towel or 100% cotton mat on the floor. This helps protect the natural wood from perspiration and body oils.
- Keep a small towel nearby to gently wipe away sweat as needed. Many customers find this enhances comfort during longer sessions.
- After each use, leave the sauna door open for a short period to allow fresh air to circulate and any remaining moisture to dissipate.

These simple practices help maintain the beauty of your sauna while creating a cleaner, more comfortable environment for every session.
